Privacy Policy

What we collect

Lulada Online is guest checkout — you don't create a password-protected account to order. To place an order we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, and delivery address (including the unit/apartment number, the coordinates and Google Place ID returned by Google's address lookup, and any delivery instructions or drop-off preference you provide, such as "leave at door").

We also keep a record of what you ordered, the price you paid, your order and delivery status, and any notes you leave for the store or the courier.

Payment information

Card payments are processed by Clover, not by Lulada directly. When you check out, your card details are sent straight to Clover's hosted checkout — our servers never receive or store your full card number. We keep only the payment result Clover sends back (approved/declined, a Clover transaction reference, and the amount charged).

Delivery through Uber Direct

Local delivery is fulfilled by Uber Direct. To get your order to you, we share your delivery address, phone number, and any drop-off instructions with Uber so a courier can find and deliver to you. Uber's own privacy policy governs how they handle that information as your delivery partner for that trip.

Other services we use

Google Places API to look up and validate delivery addresses as you type them.

Resend to send transactional emails — order confirmation, preparing, out-for-delivery, delivered, cancellation, and refund notices.

Supabase to host our order database. Access to customer and order data is restricted to authorized Lulada staff accounts.

Optional analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may receive information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, browser and device information, and marketing attribution data. These tools stay off until you opt in.

You can decline without affecting shopping or checkout. To change your choice later, use Privacy choices in the footer.

Why we use your information

To take, prepare, and deliver your order; to charge you accurately for it; to keep you updated on its status by email; to respond when you contact us; and to keep the records Canadian tax and business law require us to keep.

We do not sell your personal information. Optional analytics may be used to measure the effectiveness of Lulada's own marketing only after you opt in.

How long we keep it

We retain order and transaction records for as long as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Delivery addresses and contact details tied to past orders are kept alongside those records rather than deleted individually.

Your choices

Because ordering doesn't require an account, there's no login to manage — contact us any time to ask what information we hold about a past order, to correct it, or to ask us to stop using your contact details for anything beyond order records we're required to keep.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as Lulada Online changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do — significant changes will also be noted here.
